Following are brief synopses of the qualifications and related experience of the key technical personnel of the firm.
In our commitment to offer top class and comprehensive consultation, advice and support services to our customers, Microcom has assembled a team of computer electronics, information systems, accounting and financial professionals unmatched in the Leeward Islands.
As a testimony to the above, Microcom Limited presently has the services of full-time and associated technical personnel with accumulative years of field experience. In addition, our personnel attend training programs conducted by our equipment manufacturers, and consult on a regular basis, current issues of the leading high tech journals. In this way, Microcom ensures that its customer after-sale service and support is at the cutting edge of the representative technologies. Further, weekly in-house training sessions allow our technical personnel to review products and service updates sent to us by manufacturers on videotape.
VINCENT A. RICHARDS
Dr. Vincent A. Richards is the President of Microcom Limited. He is a graduate of Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada and Cornell University, New York, U.S.A. gaining a B.A. and M.A. from the former institutions and an M.A. and Ph.D. from the latter.
One of the founding members of the firm, Dr. Richards brings to the company expertise in the areas of Economics, Finance, Accounting, and Business/Management Information Systems. He has worked in the area of computerized business information systems for over 20 years, both as a consultant and senior management.
EUSTACE N. PHILLIP
Eustace Phillip is a founding member and a Technical Director for Microcom Limited. Mr. Phillip has a First Class Honour Diploma in Technology from Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology in Ottawa, Canada.
Mr. Phillip brings to Microcom a wealth of over 30 years experience in all aspects of Electrical, Electronics and Telecommunications engineering disciplines. He has conducted several technical training courses and is Microcom’s lead installation engineer in its UPS installations.
ERROL F. SAMUEL
Presently Errol is Managing Director of Microcom Limited and has held this position for the past five years. He is a graduate of the Bowling Green State University, Ohio, U.S.A., with both B.Sc. and Masters degrees in Industrial Technology. He also hold a PH. D. in Technology Management (Quality Systems) from Indiana State University.
He is responsible for overall management of technical sales, technical services and co-coordinating the Computer Training Division. Mr. Samuel brings to Microcom experiences in computer programming and in the application of a variety of computer software including Architectural/Engineering. He has had postgraduate training in Industrial Management/Training and Development. Mr. Samuel has served as implementation supervisor on Microcom’s major UPS installations and Novell, Microsoft/NT Networks. These are installed at International/Off-shore Banking Organizations, Educational Facilities, Architectural/Engineering Firms, and a wide variety of Distribution Firms (Motor, Retail, Bookstore, Plumbing & Hardware).
KEYVIN O. SAMUEL
Keyvin Samuel is a Technical Representative at Microcom Limited for more than eight (8) years. He is a graduate of the All Saints Secondary School and the Antigua State College (Engineering Dept.). Keyvin is a certified Microsoft Professional(MCP).
He has completed the one (1) week Engineer Training Program on the whole line of Unity/1 Three-Phase UPS at the Best Power Manufacturing Plant in Necedah, Wisconsin, U.S.A and also a two (2) week Engineer Support Training Program at Powerware Global Services Training School in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA.
